Topic: Using XML with Microsoft Access

We’ll be presenting an
introduction to the XML format with a brief discussion of how it is the new
standard for data transfer. Then we will
look at a simple Access program that can look at an XML file and import the data
into an Access table and also take a simple Access table or query and export it
as an XML file with internal text DTD.
The program also has the ability to read and respond to the XML “special
character” set.
The sample application
will be available for free on the web site after the presentation with open code
as the presenters thanks to the many who have helped him with programming and
development questions over the years.
