When I was recovering I looked at many memorials of those who were killed by drunk drivers, I cried and was overwhelmed. I was grief strickened by just how many young people were not as lucky as I was to survive a drunk driver's crash. I needed to heal and take the message across to people that Drinking and Driving is not an accident, it is a violent crime that can be prevented. For these voices who can no longer be heard I will speak for them, and educate people about Drinking and Driving.
