This page contains a little bit about me before the crash and the changes
of my way of living after the incident which is a second chance at life.
Different, but nevertheless satisfying.

I was born In San Antonio, Texas, on March 6, 1968, as Adolph Anthony Trujillo II. Later in life I assumed several nick names such as Alf from the t.v. show because I could immitate his voice so well. I was so gifted in being able to do many different voices and drama came very natural to me as well, as I developed my own characters and voices. Of course nothing really professional as my friend Kirk or any other Comedians. I also picked up many different nick names, but in the navy my middle name is the name that stuck with me now, and only really old friends and family call me Adolph, but I prefer Anthony. I am a Chef and worked at a fine Italian Restaurant. I also worked at the Magic Time Machine a theme restaurant and my character was from the movie "The Godfather". My character was the Godfather, and in the restaurant industry, Godfather became my nickname. I was always in my costume and I started to do a childrens charity work, in which we would bring the characters from work to entertain the children at local hospitals. That was very rewarding as I watched the children's faces light up when we visited them. Here is a picture of me in my costume.

     

THE DATING GAME. I have met many different girls in my days. I am and always have been a hopless romantic. I dated many girls, and each and every one of them hold a special place in my heart. Yes, I said that for all of them. It is hard for some people to believe that, but every woman that was in my life has taught me something and has made a difference in my life and if you look really closely deep within my heart you can see a little of them inside me. I also spent a lot of time with dear friends, each of them has also taught me a lot, because some have stayed around after my accident, thus showing me the real meaning of friendship.

     

After my accident, my life changed quite dramatically, many of my friends have gone on with their lives, not that they did not care, but because they had different priorities. Some married, some moved far away... There were times I felt very lonely, confined 24 hours a day indoors, That's when I started reaching out to other DWI victims. I stumbled many times on Karen Ferreira's memorial until one day I decided to write to her mother, Margaret Oster. Little did I know that this woman would be a very important person in my life. When I was down she seemed to know and call me, edging me on, challenging me, sometimes gently, sometimes rough. Everytime I felt my life was over, she gave me an ear full. She then decided that I was ready to start speaking at Victim Impact Panels and her and her partner Dick Roth flew me down to New Mexico. Margaret and Dick Roth have a DWI Victim Impact Panel, which DWI offenders have to attend because it is mandated by Court. Margaret designed and produced a video for me of my crash, so I can play it before I speak. The video has a tremendous impact, and because of it, people listen. I had my first speaking experience at her panel. Then she took me to MADD's panel which was another amazing experience, and then she took me to another challenging place: Juvenile Detention Center. She coached me, watched me, and after every speech people actually applauded and came over to talk to me. Margaret insists I have a calling, that I am charismatic, and that I make a difference. After I got back to Texas, I started speaking at Schools and church youth groups.
