Mediumship - 'Throughout the history of Spiritualism, a special place has been occupied by the medium as an individual qualified in some special manner to form a link between the living and the dead. Most Spiritualists would agree with the definition adopted by the National Spiritualist Association of Churches: "A Medium is one whose organism is sensitive to vibrations from the spirit world and through whose instrumentality intelligences in that world are able to convey messages and produce the phenomena of Spiritualism".'

Mediumship continues to be a topic of great interest at CPSG. Some members of CPSG claim to be mediums and have, on occasion, given demonstrations of their abilities. Mediums from outside the group have also given us demonstrations of both clairvoyant and trance meduimship. Members of the audience will often receive readings from them. However, it is up to those on the receiving end who must judge the relevance and authenticity of the message conveyed.
