Character Battle Stats Chart

There has always been long discussions in the SK BBS about the balance between the five different characters in Starknights (Starknight, DarkKnight, Merchant, Republican and Navigator). This chart attempts to compare the pure battle statistics of the five distinct classes. That is, attack, defense and speed. More importantly, this chart also includes the alien techs available to each class, that can be bought at the tradepost and how they affect the characters. With the exception of salvaging it from the destruction of an enemy fleet or picking alien tech up from planets on the specialised map Alien Remnants, certain alien techs are only accessible to certain classes. The importance of the alien techs becomes very clear in the table below. At this point, I will not attempt to elaborate, but will simply let the numbers speak for themselves. Please note, that the current figures assume that all three skills (attack / defense / speed) are maxed out. Each character has a base of 1.0. As you can see the specialists have a natural skill of 2.0 (ie double), whereas the norm is 1.6.

On the left hand side, you can see which alien tech is SEPARATELY being tested. The most important comparison is the one near the end - best equiped - which includes more than just one alien tech for each character. At the very bottom of the table, I have also included 3 of the 6 special cases (omitted the X30 and the Valkorh and the Riftjack as they are too small and not as significant as the examples illustrated).
