April Fool's Day! (almost) |

I haven't updated the website for a while. There are
three main reasons for that. Lack of energy and time (those are two)
and thirdly, some long term plans for a website facelift. The latter
has been put on the backburner due to problems #1 and #2. ;)
Anyhow, I was encouraged to update the website to reward the people
who frequently visit and also because I personally hate inactive
websites. As a bonus, I added some MK Gossip
that was long overdue. :)
I'm glad to say that we have three running tournaments
at this point in time (those marked as "new") and still going strong, despite a few hiccups.
Keep submitting those map placements. There is quite a bit
of demand for them. In due time I will add some more of mine as well.
As a final note. I have updated several links and deleted some of those that no longer exist.
If you happen to find any bad links just drop me a line.

New MK Tournament |

The Quick Duel Tournament
is about to start. The places
are already complete. The initial concept was by Kal-El,
but due to his disappearance, Lp3 has undertaken the task
of bringing the tournament to fruition. In other news, the
MK Map Committee has recently finished Map Batch 11.
Anarchy, Christmas, Cookie_Cutter, Hedgemaze and Writher are the 5 new maps that made it
through. Last but not least, due to some deleting and re-organising of the website,
some links might be broken or some images missing. If you spot one, let me know. :)

Skyven's Interview is finally here! |

Yes, I know, Ruler hasn't been able to sleep for
months now. No, it's not April's Fools Day. The interview
is finally online. The actual interview, took place in March.
A lot of the questions you've had have been answered, for both
MK and SK.

nMKo bigger, better, uncut! |

While in anticipation of Skyven's interview, I decided to
do an update in the meantime to keep things flowing. The nMKo
team has grown in numbers with the addition of
four new members.
I've also updated the Map Page to include the
batch #10
maps, which were
for those that don't remember, BridgeMayhem, Corridors, Neverland and
Peninsulas. Be sure to stop by and post your best openings. It's there for
your own use. The flame forum, has recently been injected with a
taste of what it once used to be in the form of McGoogan's
recent recap of flame ... events.
A new alliance has emerged in recent times. They call themselves "The DarkSide Tribe".
Their website is still partially under construction.

Whatever happened to DnC? |

Jeez. So much pressure to update. Autumn is back and MK
is buzzing again. We have a new tournament in the works; invite only.
The MK Elite Tournament ... 2 ran
exclusively by Dve with some help from Evil Eye and Genie. Yes, as
you may have guessed, there was an MK Elite Tournament - around 5 years
ago in fact - but it never finished, unfortunately. This time things
will be different. Yes, we do have some new gossip. It's been a while, hasn't it?
Find out what happened to the DnC! Last, but not least,
Countessa's website has now been added to the MK Links.
She has put quite a bit of content, both MK and non-MK related, in such a short time. Make sure to stop by and pay her a visit!
I personally feel, these two websites put together, provide a good place for MKers to visit besides ofcourse a must-stop to
Wef's MK Forum. Dont' worry Ruler, soon Skyven's
Interview will also be up. :)

Q and A Sections Updated |

There were quite a few questions mounting up in the Q and A section,
so I felt the need to answer them. The MK and SK Q and A sections can both
be found respectively, under MK and SK World.

No Website Update for a while |
|
In the last few months, I haven't had time to update the website.
This will probably continue for 1-2 months more atleast, until I finish my work.
Hopefully, after that, we'll get back to regular updating. I have planned a major
overhaul. Going to re-organise the structure of the website a little better and iron out
some things and introduce a couple of new things as well. Keeping a tight lip for the time being... ;)

New Tournaments for MK and SK |
|
Due to time constraints, I haven't updated the website
for a while. In this past month we have seen the re-emergence
of the MK Challenge, as well
as the spawn of several new tournaments. Firstly we have
Qix's SK Tournament,
hosted by Moonshadow. Then, MK has two new tournaments, Kal El's Quick Duel Tournament,
already in its second round and LP3's Gathering of Heroes League.
Neither of them has a website at the moment. There are also some gossip news and for those wondering, no,
Skyven's interview is not yet finished, but I intend to get that done soon.
As a final note, Map Batch #10 is now finished. Four maps have been added to the servers and batch #11 is already underway.
