A view of the front of the enclosure just after assembly. It's a sealed 2.4ft3 enclosure, and a double amp rack. The enclosure is constructed from 3/4in. MDF (medium density fiberboard). This material has high density, and is easy shaped. Click here for the plans.

The inset amp racks which are hinged to the main enclosure. These racks open using pneumatic cylinders so I can access the in-floor compartments where the jack and other accessories are stored.

Picture of the box
The overall box itself. It's installed in the extended cab portion of my truck. It rests on the raised floor of the cab where the small back seats were, and extends into the foot well of the extended-cab. I used preexisting bolt holes to bolt it down.

I also built lids that go over each amp compartment. They consist of MDF frames with smoked polycarbonate inserts. I cut vents in the poly to let the amps breath, venting is also aided by 12volt fans in each compartment.
