Profile of Karen Savino

ACCF 2nd Vice President

Karen Savino became interested in the ACCF when she met Lucas (now her husband). She was sponsoring a child through another worldwide charitable organization when she learned that Lucas was part of a group that was trying to register their Canadian charity to provide medicine and supplies to impoverished villages in Argentina .

As part of the Board of Directors, Karen enjoys participating in various aspects of bringing awareness to the ACCF such as volunteering at garage sales and recently, used her skills as a music producer to record a CD entitled, “Homemade” featuring local talent from the Windsor and Essex Region.

Karen continues to enjoy brainstorming and implementing fundraising ideas with the rest of the Directors in hopes to sustain the volunteers' efforts and also to empower those in need.
